The one on PC was meh, a tekken with DB/DBZ/DBGT characters and moves, first on GBA was pretty good (DB) and the other was mediocre (DBGT). Movie - WHAT. THE. BLOODY. HELL! That's not Goku. That's not Roshi. That's NOT Chi-Chi. And that's NOT... NOT DRAGON BALL. |

I personally can't stand anime. To me, live action > anime any day of the week. I actually enjoyed Dragonball Z for a while, but then I turned 10. I heard about this movie about 4 or 5 months ago and kind of chuckled. To me, it just seems like Hollywood is running out of licenses. That's why we have an CG Alvin & the Chipmunks movie, and now a Dragonball movie.
Fox is just looking at it like "Hey, we can make 50 million dollars exploiting former fans of the show, no matter how bad we make this movie", and I really can't blame them. If gullible manga fans are gonna line up to pay $10 a ticket, then I say go for it. Exploitation ftw. |

This movie is going to be worse than Dragonball Online.
And the characters look pretty fking terrible tbh. But as Kanyatta said, if they can make 50 million from dumb fans, let them do it. |

though I agree about Goku being way skinnier and his hair shorter, I'd still probably watch this (probably alone
since no one wants to watch this). I'd have to wait for the official trailer though since there's way too many fan made/fake ones on youtube. (which have been out for months)They started with Dragonball so if this sells well they will probably make the other ones but imo they should've just done DBZ. I'd be horrified to see who they choose for Vegeta or how they do SSJ. :/ I never watched DB really but I enjoyed Z when I was in high school and still rewatched them sometimes. |
